The State of Transitional Justice in Africa Volume 2 The Role of Regional Economic Communities

This report, authored by Imran Darboe, forms part of the Initiative for Transitional Justice in Africa, jointly launched by the African Union and the European Union and implemented by a consortium comprised of the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation, the International Center for Transitional Justice, and the Africa Transitional Justice Legacy Fund. Funded by the European Union, the initiative seeks to support the domestication of the African Union Transitional Justice Policy through
technical assistance, knowledge production, and sustained support to civil society across the continent.
